ManConnect.com is supposed to be a sort of gay dating website but is actually more of a porn site featuring amateur gay men who supposedly submit their photos.

The site really fails in about every way that it can.  As a dating site it is horrible.  The profiles are manually added by the webmaster which means that if you submit a profile you do not have any easy way to edit or remove it without having to contact the webmaster.  Considering it has not been updated since June 2009, it is likely the webmaster is not available.  Even worse, if you want to just browse the profiles you have no option to sort them in any sort of meaningful way.  Want to find someone near you?  How about your age? How about with your same sexual interests?  Maybe body type?  Nope.  You much click on to each and every single profile.

I understand that back in 1999 when this site started, it was probably the easiest way to do it.  But this is 2010 and there is tons of free software out there that could be installed to turn this into a real hookup site.

As for the porn.  Well, there are a lot of galleries, but again they are not sorted in any way and although they mention many times that the men you see in the galleries are also men who have profiles on the site.  They do not link you to said profiles.  Instead, you are asked to browse the profiles and see if you recognize any of them.

There is an amazing video gallery with 12 videos in 180×120 resolution conveniently encoded in real media or windows media format.

The site suggests viewing it in Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator 4.0 and 800×600 resolution.  That should give you an idea of just how outdated it is.

Housewife At Home looks like it was made by a middle school student as a project for “computer class” using a website design template from the 90′s. I don’t understand why the webmaster made more work for himself (and his subscribers) by making the home page un-clickable then making a nearly identical “ladies page” that you CAN click on to find the photos.

Some of the ladies are mildly attractive, but most are downright homely.

Housewife At Home will be updated weekly with at least one photoset, and from time to time with a short video clip.

I could not find any videos and the site stopped updating in October 2009.

Oh, my……where to start….

This site is just all sorts of awful. The site design is awful, the navigation is awful, the models and photography are awful, there is annoying blinking shit everywhere……

The ‘meet the models’ section is not clickable, so if you like a particular model you then have to search the site manually to find her (there is NO search feature and the “Old Galleries” index seems to be in no particular order). The model name “Thick Fudge” caught my attention (in a very, very bad way), but when I went to the archives I couldn’t find any photos of her (I should probably be very glad of this, however).

Some of the videos seem to be broken, and others are as short as 90 seconds.

The photos are so bad I just don’t even know how to describe them. So, just check them out for yourself below.

This crappy site has just 16 models with 2 videos and 2 sets of screen caps/photos each. Some videos are as long as 13 minutes (which you must download first), but others are broken up into 4 little one minute clips that you can watch on the site.

The tour says you get access to “Ben’s Casting Couch” free with your membership, but I could not find a link anywhere in the members area.

All of the video feeds lead to parked pages, cam sites (that you have to pay for), or are just broken.

The tour is exactly the same as it was in 2002, so I think it’s safe to assume the site has not been updated since then.

This site is the same crap as Like Matures and Shocking Matures. Many of the models are not really ‘mature’–they are just wearing wigs and old lady clothes. They also use the same slimy practice of changing the dates on the ‘updates’ to make it look like they are still adding content to the site, when in reality there is no way to tell when they last updated the site. It could have been 6 years ago when the site first started.
